Our Philosophy – Out of Love for Home
We love Bavaria – its nature, its traditions, its people. To ensure this unique landscape is preserved for future generations, we transformed Benediktenhof into a certified organic hotel in 2005. One hundred percent certified organic food, environmentally responsible management and sustainable energy sources are a responsibility we live by.
For this commitment, we have been awarded the Bavarian Environmental Seal in Gold. Our electricity comes from renewable sources – climate-certified and clean. For us, organic is not a trend but an attitude – born of respect for nature and love for the place we are privileged to call home.

Sofie Bichler combines two passions. As a trained hospitality professional, she looks after guests with warmth, and as a talented amateur painter, she gives Benediktenhof its very own artistic signature. Her works adorn walls and rooms – sometimes traditional, sometimes bold, always unique.
Her paintings are not only on display at Benediktenhof. She also accepts commissions outside the house. Whether murals, caricatures or traditional and imaginative shooting targets – her artworks are crafted with heart, style and always a touch of humour.
